I finished dental school almost 18 years ago. I have done a lot of endo. My endo skills were very traditional though. Hand instrumentation, lateral condensation with a eugenol based sealer and a whole lot of gutta-percha cones.
Never again.
Even if you are already using a rotary system you will learn how to do it more efficiently. You will pick up so many tricks and tips on everything from how your phone is answered, how to always get teeth numb (which by the way applies to restorative cases and extractions), how to do root canals efficiently and accurately, how to make money, when to do the root canal and when to refer, how to restore root canal treated teeth, how to diagnose which teeth need root canals and which ones don't, how to handle complications before, during and after root canal therapy, and best of all there is a thorough hands-on session that builds your confidence so that you can go home and perform root canal therapy as good as, if not better than your local endodontist. I simply cannot say enough good things about this course. Listening to Kit Weathers teach is like sitting down and having a conversation with a friend. His style and demeanor are so down to earth and humble and yet he is loaded with a wealth of information that comes across clearly and is easy to understand. And of course, like so many LVI classes, I learned so much during the breaks from other LVI students like Brett Davis and Ted Hadgis.
In January 2009 I sat with Kit at LVI and told him that I would be in his class soon. Well it took me 13 months and I probably lost $20,000 as a result of my procrastination. The endodontist down the street is driving a new car thanks to me. And I promise you his final films look no better than what any of us are capable of doing. If the economy has your practice a little slower than it was a year ago, this is the nearly recession proof course that will get you back on track. Saving teeth with root canal therapy gets us back to that need-based dentistry that is so fundamental to so many of us, especially now.
One word of caution though. If you are in his house, taking his course in Griffin, Georgia and you are invited to shoot a game of pool against him (on his home pool table), you better know how to play a good game of pool. Kit showed up wearing a suit, shirt and tie and of course he lost the first game to me. Now I don't know if any of you have ever seen "the Hustler" but it all seems so clear to me now two days later... two days too late. In three hours, I did not win in another game of pool. As a matter of fact, I was taken to school. He never even unbuttoned his suit jacket.

There is something seriously wrong with Kit’s Endo course. It was too easy. It just can’t be that easy. In the hands-on part I completed from start to finish a difficult anterior and wild curved molar in 5 and 12 minutes respectively. Wow – it is that easy. I did endo for years but stopped some time ago for various reasons. Except for untreatable teeth, there is no reason I am going to refer to an endodontist. Even in the middle of prepping anything you can do endo in just minutes with Kit’s approach. What a great service to the patient. Given what we have learned at LVI and are implementing in our offices, I firmly believe all of us should take the Endo Root Camp course. It works so well with our protocols because it is efficient and thorough. It can be done immediately during a large or small treatment if you are set up for the possibility; it is a terrific system.
The course is full of great information as well. I took it at Kit’s Georgia home; it was a treat. Besides some very cool magic that he does (I hate it that I can’t figure out how it’s done), we had a good ol’ southern barbeque with a band. And Kit’s home and the surrounding area were really nice – a great backyard setting. I easily recommend his Georgia hospitality.
Thank you to both Kit and Vince Tiller for a solid 2 days. It’s a definite Thumb’s Up course (unless that’s an obscene gesture anywhere), and, if you haven’t taken it, it should be on your to do list. The patient service and ROI will be worth it.

I just got back from Griffin, Ga. , you know, the home of Doc Holiday . Kit Weathers and Vince Tiller demystified root canal therapy in a masterfully presented course. There were lots of attendees who already are doing RCT at home but came to hear a new approach that makes this procedure less frightening. Thank you Kit and Vince. It sure was great having a course that LVI sponsored here on the right side of the country and even in the same time zone.

This weekend I had the pleasure of attending Kit Weathers Endo Root Camp® in Griffin, GA. (yes some of the residents there do have teeth).
Kit was awesome, for those of you that know me; I have a hard time sitting through a lecture with alot of fluff. Kit's material is straight to the point "just the facts", and gives you a system that I swear you could do the damn endo with your feet. (Kit says it’s so easy his UPS guy could do it, he actually shows you this). I have been doing about 80% of my own endo for the last 10 years, but Kit really streamlined my technique, and efficiency.
For those of you that debate on doing some of your own endo, you may want to reconsider. If you are growing a practice and have time to fill gaps in the schedule, how about making an extra $1000 in 30-40 mins, no lab bill, no second visit, minimal overhead. DUH! Do only 2 a week, and add $8000 to your pocket that month.
As an aside Kit is a true promoter of LVI, since 90% of the docs there had not been to LVI, Kit had me come up and we talked about LVI, our experiences, and answered questions to the point that Kit had to end the Q and A session so that we could stay on schedule. (I think he just wanted to start the after party) I spoke to many attendees at breaks, and many were extremely fired up and very interested.
Great job Kit, I’m glad you are on our TEAM!

Just returned from Endo Root camp®. It was a wonderful course with a lot of practical knowledge that I will really be able to put to use. I would recommend it to anyone who does endo and wants to get faster or if you want to take the mystery out of endo and get your feet wet. Kit is a wonderful addition to LVI and just a genuinely nice person. Kit thanks for all the info and I look forward to seeing you again when I'm back out at LVI.
Vince It was a pleasure to meet you also how are you feeling with the
LVI orthotic I hope all goes well. Thanks for all the practical info you added to the course.
Thanks
Amiel
