Arthur “Kit” Weathers, D.D.S.
Okay, so Dr. Weathers is a pretty impressive magician. He can make rabbits appear, playing cards disappear and cut unwitting dental assistants in half.
But the real “magic” performed by Dr. Weathers is as a veteran clinician who has refined the science and art of practical endodontics to a simple system that is both effective and easy to learn.

A global lecturer, acknowledged by Dentistry Today as one of the top leaders in continuing education, Dr. Weathers is the originator and head “drill sergeant” at the renowned Endodontic Root Camp®. (What a poor choice of words for a dentist!)
Attendees at Dr. Weathers’ seminars discover that root canal therapy needn’t be painful for them or their patients, and learning about the systems developed and perfected by Dr. Weathers can actually be fun.
(Shhh! We don’t want to spoil the image of root canals as a dental nether world or soon all dentists will realize they really needn’t fear the procedure. Even patients may come to actually be at ease when requiring a root canal.)
When Dr. Weathers isn’t teaching or practicing – and that’s really some trick, since he does both ceaselessly – he’s an author, inventor and noted thaumaturgist. (Hint: If your kids play Dungeons & Dragons, they’ll know.)
Among the certificates on his den wall is a patent crediting him with pioneering a simplified system of nickel titanium files to enhance patient comfort with a one-visit endodontic procedure. As the clinical technique developer of an Intraosseous Anesthesia System, Dr. Weathers also has demonstrated and taught practitioners how to apply a patient-friendly anesthetic method that predictably acquires painless profound anesthesia in seconds.
Dr. Weathers served three years in the United States Air Force and is a 1967 graduate of the Emory University Dental School.
While Dr. Weathers never reveals the illusions behind his magic tricks, he revels in sharing his knowledge and experience with enthusiastic dental audiences.
